The Alden House Inn is located at 63 Church Street, Belfast ME 04915.
The fastest way from points south (Portland, Boston) is to take I-95 then I-295 north to Augusta, taking exit 113 east on route 3 to Belfast, about 1 hour from Augusta depending on traffic. Continue straight at the US route 1 intersection to the downtown area. Turn right onto Church Street at the 5-way intersection. Note that you have the right of way traveling in this direction. The Post Office is to your right and too hard a right turn will land you in the Post Office parking lot; not sharp enough and you will be on High St. Follow Church Street for three blocks. The Alden House is on your left. Turn left onto Park street to access our parking area adjacent to the barn.
If you are traveling north up US route 1, take the first Belfast exit on your right - this exit is well marked. Follow the signs to the downtown waterfront district, continuing about one mile. When you come to the flashing light, bear left on Church St. Continue for about 1/4 mile, the Alden House will be on your right. Turn right on Park St. to access our parking area.
Coming from the north (Acadia or Bangor) follow US route 1 south until you get to Belfast. Take the first exit after you go over the high bridge in Belfast. Turn right at the end of the exit ramp. As you go down the hill into town, the road makes a "Y". Bear right onto Church St. Follow Church St. through two stop signs, for three blocks. The Alden House will be on your left. Turn left onto Park St. to access our parking area.
