Thanks to all our guests for a wonderful - if short - 2019 season. We have closed to undertake a rebuild of the former carriage house and barn to create stable and warm owner's quarters. It will remain on a similar footprint and in the Greek Revival style of the inn. We plan to reopen as usual for the 2020 season on 1 July. If you are interested in booking a reservation for 2020, we have opened the reservation system for bookings. Alternatively you may contact Nat and Lexa by email: firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone: +1 207 218 1110. Thank you!
The Alden House is an inviting, comfortable inn located in Belfast, in the heart of Penobscot Bay. Built in 1840 for Hiram O. Alden by architect Calvin Ryder, the inn features classic architecture and expansive gardens in a convenient in-town location. The Alden House Inn offers easy access to all points of interest along Penobscot Bay, Acadia National Park, Maine’s Mid-Coast region and of course the City of Belfast, with its eclectic array of shops, musical and artistic events, and beautiful shoreline. Belfast has long held a reputation as a cultural destination. Main and High Streets also boast several restaurants and pubs, and we now have a world-class shipyard. There’s never been a better time to visit!
Our reservation system is open all year for your convenience. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at email@example.com or call 207.218.1110.
We will be opened until 12 August this year. The Inn is in top condition but the owner's quarters in the back are in need of attention. While the inn itself will not be affected by renovations, in order not to inconvenience guests we have taken the decision to close the Inn when work on the owner's quarters begins in mid August.
